
The FBI provided information about a former church pastor and music teacher in Colorado Springs who was communicating with a couple in New Mexico who were exploiting children. On 09-06-23 the Colorado Springs PD Internet Crimes against Children unit was contacted by the Colorado Springs FBI office. No specific descriptions are available at this time.

Video surveillance is being reviewed from all locations to attempt to identify the suspects. In all cases, the individuals walk into the stores and steal various items from within, prior to fleeing in the silver Hyundai Tucson. In all of the incidents, the suspects are described as 3-5 individuals wearing dark clothing and masks on their faces. A later investigation into the vehicle determined it to have been an unreported stolen car from the Falcon Division.Īt approximately 0422 hours, a fourth incident was reported in the 5600 block of Palmer Park Boulevard with matching suspect descriptions.Īt approximately 0440 hours, a fifth incident was reported in the 3800 block of North Nevada Avenue with matching suspect descriptions.Īt approximately 0443 hours, a sixth incident was reported in the 200 block of West Fillmore Street with matching suspect descriptions.Īt the time of this entry, the investigation is ongoing and the stolen vehicle has not been recovered. On this incident, officers were able to obtain a vehicle description of a silver 2016 Hyundai Tucson with Colorado registration. It was determined that the suspect information and vehicle description matched the earlier call on Academy Boulevard.Īt approximately 0414 hours, a third incident was reported in the 900 block of North Circle Drive.

All suspects fled the area in a silver SUV.Īt approximately 0342 hours, Officers were flagged down in the 300 block of Mount View Lane and a similar incident was reported to them. The caller reported multiple suspects dressed in dark clothes and wearing masks on their faces entering the store and stealing undisclosed items. On September 8, 2023, at approximately 0218 hours, the Colorado Springs Police Department received reports of an in progress theft at a convenience store in the 1900 block of N Academy Boulevard.
